  BALTIMORE (WBFF) – A Glen Burnie woman has been charged in the murder of abduction victim Tiffany Jones.
  Bobie Barncord, 28, is charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, kidnapping, false imprisonment, first-degree arson and reckless endangerment. Barncord is being held without bond. She confessed to helping with Jones’ abduction by driving the pickup truck and setting her on fire, according to the statement.Jones was abducted from a Family Dollar store on Potee Street on Aug. 21, where a black male put a knife against her neck and forced her into a dark Chevrolet pickup truck, according to the statement of charges. Jones was found with her arms and legs bound in a burning house on 7th Street, according to the statement of charges. The investigation revealed the driver of the suspect vehicle was a white female, later identified as Barncord.

• Man charged in connection with murder, robbery
  A North Carolina man faces several charges in connection with recent crimes including a murder in the Longs area, authorities said. Horry County Police’s robbery/homicide unit has obtained warrants on James Laverne Bellamy of Tabor City, North Carolina, in connection to the murder outside of a Longs area Food Lion and armed robbery at Carolina Inn located in the Loris area. The murder victim was identified as 57-year-old Gerard Celentano.  He was originally from New Jersey but had been living in Horry County for about a year and a half. He died due to a gunshot wound. On Wednesday, Aug. 15, officers responded to Food Lion in reference to a carjacking and homicide, police said. It was reported that a black male armed with a gun confronted a store employee in the parking lot and demanded that the employee unlock the store. At the same time, two other armed black males reportedly confronted a person sitting in a car in the store’s parking lot who was later identified as Celentano. When that person tried to flee, the suspects fired into the vehicle, identified in a police report as a white Chevrolet Cavalier, killing the victim, police said.

  LONGS, SC (WMBF) – The victim of the fatal carjacking, 57-year-old Gerard Celentano is loved and will be missed by many.
  “She was crying and said Jerry is dead, said Barbara Wisniewski, Celentano’s mother in law.  Doreen’s mother, Barbara Wisniewski said she will never forget the phone call she received Wednesday night. “I said what do you mean? She said I know he’s dead and she was locked inside of the store because the police had to come and check it out,” Wisniewski said. Her daughter was walking out of Food Lion after her shift, she called her husband’s cell phone, but he didn’t pick up. She heard commotion and ran out to the car. “She knew he was dead when she ran back and that was the last look that she had of him and that’s when she called me,” explained Wisniewski. The last time she saw her husband, he was sitting in the car he had been shot. Wisniewski added, “She never saw him again because she was inside there until 3 o’clock in the morning before they would let her out of the store.”

When she fell on the tracks she was knocked out, so Katie jumped down to help, even though the train was coming in.   The affidavit of probable cause says a man, now identified as 23-year-old James Gilbert, was standing in the driveway, bleeding from the chest.  He reportedly told police, “I think I killed her; she’s in there.  She’s the Devil.”Authorities then found a woman unresponsive in the home.  Paramedics administered first aid, but could not save her.  The coroner’s office pronounced the woman dead at the scene shortly after 12:30 in the morning.   The woman is now identified as 20-year-old Marinda Matasowski.  Gilbert is believed to be the victim’s boyfriend.  According to documents, the two have an infant son together.  Police believe Gilbert plunged the knife into his own chest after stabbing the victim.  Police believe the defendant used a large, stainless steel kitchen knife to kill the victim.

  NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- The family of Armand van Tonder is struggling to cope with their loss nearly three weeks after he was killed at a North Little Rock skate park. “He’s just free spirited and young people do certain things,” says Paul Luttig of his 22 year old step son, Armand van Tonder.  He says van Tonder liked to do anything outdoors, including skateboarding.
  On July 16th van Tonder and a friend were at a North Little Rock skate park in the early morning hours when police say what appeared to be an aggravated robbery turned into a homicide.  Two victims were shot, van Tonder died at the scene.

The naked intruder who was shot dead by the homeowner after he found him choking and biting his 11-year-old grandson, has been identified.

Dajon Harper, 26, was killed by Vietnam War veteran Richard ‘Gary’ Black, 23, during the break-in at the suburban Denver home at 1.30am on Monday. Moments later, Black was accidentally shot by a cop responding to the family’s 911 call.

The grandfather was then reportedly handcuffed and left on the floor of his own home rather than being taken for immediate medical treatment. The 73-year-old later died in hospital.

It has since been revealed that the officer who killed Black had gunned down a fleeing suspect just a month earlier. The officer, who has not been named, has been placed on paid administrative reassignment.

The suspect, who used the aliases ‘Harper Boy Killa’ and ‘Harper Chaos Lil,was previously accused of attempted murder and child abuse in 2011 but the charges were dropped.  Harper was also jailed for three years for felony assault and menacing with a weapon in 2013. Hayashi said if Black hadn’t shot Harper, the ‘whole family would be dead.’  ‘My dad was a hero, period,’ he said. ‘He’s been a hero in this country since 1966, and he needs to be recognized as such.’ – (Black-on-white)
